How often do I need to change my aligners?+

Wearing aligners at all times except when you eat or clean your teeth helps achieve the best results — at least 22 hours a day is recommended. Usually, patients wear each pair for two weeks, but one of our dentists will discuss the exact treatment schedule.

What is the best way to clean my aligners and retainers?+

Brush them and rinse them under lukewarm water. An alternative is special cleaning tablets for dental appliances, available over the counter from your local supermarket and pharmacy. After each meal, brush your teeth before re-inserting the aligner into your mouth.
